This exhibition covers four decades of James Brady’s photographs, from the 1930s to the 1960s, of both individual and community Métis and Cree life in Alberta and Saskatchewan. The photos are evidence of Brady’s attachment and commitment to the dignity and rights of Métis and Cree peoples at a time of impoverishment and denial of rights by provincial and federal governments.
